The Town of Jackson and Teton County each publish their own short-term rental rules. Here is what each official page says, with links, so you can check which rules apply to your address before you list.
The Town defines a short-term rental as occupancy of fewer than 30 consecutive days and requires both a business license and a Basic Use Permit to operate one. Outside the Lodging Overlay and Planned Resort Zone, a short-term rental is limited to three separate stays and 60 rental nights per calendar year, and the permit is renewed every year. The Town says a permit can take up to 45 days once the application is deemed sufficient (Town of Jackson short-term rentals).
Teton County's short-term rental page quotes its Land Development Regulations: no residential unit may be rented such that occupancy is limited to less than 31 days, and shorter stays are a lodging use. The County lists the units approved for short-term rental by development and unit type, for example condominiums and townhouses in Teton Village Area II, and up to 200 of the 301 dwelling units permitted at Spring Creek Ranch (Teton County short-term rentals). A guest staying a month or more is living in the home, so the desk, the laundry and the storage deserve frames alongside the view.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort lists opening day for the winter 2026-27 season as November 27, 2026 (Jackson Hole Mountain Resort). A ski-season listing should lead with a winter exterior, so plan that frame once snow is on the ground. Interiors can be photographed any time.

If something is off with the photos, we fix it free and fast. Small retouches usually come back within about 3 hours. Extra edits you ask for, such as object removal, are $5 per photo. If the unit is not ready, the reschedule is free, but a return trip is billed. If the shoot is paid upfront and canceled at least 12 hours before the shoot time, we issue a refund.
